Langgar Temple

  • Besides containing aesthetic value, the building also has historical significance that reflects the acculturation of Hindu and Islamic civilizations. The temple is also equipped with a place for ablution and prayer. Pura Langgar also has a ritual whose meaning is similar to the day of sacrifice for Muslims. This ritual is called Titi Mamah which must be carried out every year by the pengempon Pura Langgar when it is darkon Tilem Sasih kawulu day.

    The sacrifice used is a small cow or commonly called godel. Because of its uniqueness, Pura Langgar has become a tourist destination and can be visited by tourists. As a tourist destination, the temple is managed by the DTW Pura Langgar Management Board. The management prepares a special place that can be used by Muslims to pray. The special prayer location is not in the main area (Utama Mandala) of Pura Langgar. The reason is, the inside of the main building of Pura Langgar can only be accessed by local temple leaders. The ablution and prayer locations are provided in the outer courtyard area of the temple, or often called nista mandala

Masjid Al Hidayah Bedugul

  • The Great Mosque of al-Hidayah Bedugul is indeed unique in its own way, from the social community, this mosque has been integrated with Hindus in Bali. Her name among Muslims is certainly very familiar, although different writing and pronunciation, that the name is the same as the name of the Prophet Muhammad’s wife, Siti Khadijah.
